• CLIL-ite is an institute as a Non-profit Organization in Japan. It has a partnership with J-CLIL and work together for CLIL teacher education.

• J-CLIL is already familiar with CLIL research and practice especially in Japan and recognized to be an active association contributing to the education and society, as you  see its activites on the website. 

• CLIL-ite  exclusively focus on CLIL teacher education together with J-CLIL. The CLIL Teacher Education Program (CTEP) is provided by CLIL-ite, which issues a certificate of J-CLIL Accreditted Teacher (JAT) to certify completion of the CTEP.

• ​​The process for the certification is described as follows:

  1. The CTEP course fees: 40,000 yen in total

  2. ​Individual ONLINE learning to understand CLIL pedagogy

  3. The paricioation of CLIL seminars and workshops (opptional)

  4. To give a 30 minute presentation on CLIL practice in English

  5. To submit CLIL practical paper (5,000 to 8,000 words)

  6. ​J-CLIL accreditation committee examines the qualification for JAT

  7. The certificate of JAT is issued after the above process

• After completion, we hope each teacher will positvely teach CLIL as a JAT and contribute to the development for CLIL
